My business is a sole proprietorship. Do I file as a business or individual?

If your business is a sole proprietorship, your business was never registered with the state as a legal entity. Therefore, its best to file as an individual but with a DBA for your business. i.e. if your name is John Doe and your business is Fluffy Groomers, you would file as John Doe DBA Fluffy Groomers. Our filing engine will ask you these questions and we make it so easy that you can’t make a mistake! And we will triple check your work so we will catch it if there is any issue!
